Danielle Woodhouse Johnson
Founder and CEO, OA Designer
Danielle’s journey has always been about helping others. From the Peace Corps, to mental health case management, to home staging and styling, her unique life experiences led her to found The Oasis Alliance. Under her leadership, with the help of the executive team and talented members of the community, the organization is able to serve families who have lived in shelters, veterans, teenaged mothers who are pursuing higher education, children who have been abused, and other survivors of trauma. Her dedication and commitment to the mission drive her passion and motivation to lead.
Cathy Guerra
Chief Design Officer
A DC Native, Cathy Guerra has developed a passion for healing and exploration of both natural and urban environments. She brings this perspective to her design approach. She is deeply inspired by nature and her surroundings, and combines natural textures over neutral color palettes with pops of color to create layered vignettes, inspired by both local and worldly influences. Cathy supervises all Oasis designers and oversees the therapeutic aspects of our unique design approach.
Yvette Guerra
Acting Chief Operating Officer
Yvette’s talent for management and administration is palpable. She skillfully coordinates the team and manages marketing and event planning for OA. Yvette is a DC native and second-generation Latina. At a young age, she knew her life purpose was to help women and children. Her knowledge and passion for business and client relations help build awareness and fundraising for the work the Oasis Alliance does in the community.
Rodney Johnson
Chief Logistics Officer
Rodney Johnson uses his skills as a contracts and warehousing manager in his career to serve as the logistics lead for The Oasis Alliance. He’s the guy that loves packing a truck with maximum efficiency. Rodney makes sure that every client we help receives the right furniture in good condition.
Nate Mabrey
Technology Officer
Nate Mabrey leads and manages The Oasis Alliance website and online presence. As a master connector, he excels at partnership development and strategy. Nate executes our board recruitment efforts and lends his amazing thought partnership for the growth and development of OA.
